Do you offer support out of hours?

Our default support hours are 0900hrs-1730hrs excluding weekends and Bank Holidays.

Of course our support mailbox and MetaBot are always at hand 24/7/365 to log support issues but we try and let our human techs sleep every now and then.

Having customers in various sectors including hospitality we understand sometimes there is a need for support out of hours. If required this can be arranged when we tailor your support package at additional cost, to give you access to the out of hours emergency number.   

Projects or works which require a 'down time window' can be facilitated out of hours at a pre agreed convenient time, once scoped by the account management team.

Is I.T Support for my business truly unlimited?

Yes. We operate an 'all you can eat' model which means if it is on the support contract, it is covered. We do a lot of work behind the scenes to identify patterns, trends and risks (Which we will happily share with you) to try and help reduce the amount of times you require support.

What do you monitor?

During the onboarding phase, we will deploy various remote monitoring and management tooling along with network collectors.

This means we can be aware of issues and have them proactively create a support ticket's for us to resolve on most occasions before they actually become an issue for you.

We also monitor for cyber threats, so we can isolate them with behavioural AI and signature recognition

Backups are important so we monitor them on a daily basis, we automate Disaster recovery testing, give you unlimited offsite storage as well as provisions for onsite if required.

Can I change what I need covering during my contract?

Yes.

Many Managed I.T Service Providers tie you into contracts on devices where the device count will not be looked at until your renewal.

At Meta Eagle we think this is unfair. Scale your contract month on month in whatever direction you need so you only pay for what you use.

Do you do add-hoc work if we do not have a support contract?

We have the 'Professional Services' arm of the business that specialises in delivering I.T Projects such as migrations, upgrades etc. For each project we assign a dedicated and qualified Project Manager. Each project will have a defined start, end and will undergo a detailed 'Scope of Works' (SoW) before commencment.

Ad-Hoc break fix for an organisation without a 'Managed Service' contract is not something we encourage. Our priority is our contract customers and for this reason Ad-Hoc work is very disruptive, difficult to plan and scale.

Ad-Hoc requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, be liable to a 'Call Out' fee and an hourly rate. The 'Call-Out' fee will be reimbursed should after the event you decide to become a 'Managed Service' contract customer within 30-Days.

Documentation & Password Management

Any IT system is only as good as the documentation it is built on. For our customers we take care of all of this from management of crucial passwords, Infrastructure process, procedures and new machine build guides.

This is held for each of our customers in a secure ‘Run Book’ – Think of this as a playbook for all of your IT needs.

Meta Eagle will never charge you to access your data and this can be made available to you whenever and as often as you would like.

We also encourage the use of password managers internally in your business and have a strong affiliation to one of the biggest players in the market so can advise on how you can set this up internally.

Proactive Monitoring

When we say we monitor your network, we do so to allow us to be proactive in detecting issues and preventing problems. The custom made monitoring wall in our office allows us to see the status of our customer networks in real time.

The Remote Monitoring & Management agent (RMM) allows us to monitor Mac, Linux and Windows Workstations not only for potential issues but also potential threats. Should an issue be detected then a proactive ticket will be created for our engineers to resolve. If a threat is detected out of hours it will automatically be contained.

We deploy Network Monitoring & Management allowing us to take control of Switching, Routers, Firewalls to see the traffic on your Network. This also alerts us to issues with any devices that may be impacting on performance.

A bespoke LibreNMS Platform allows us to monitor internet connections, bandwidth utilisation and produce proactive alerts for any managed Firewall or Router installed by Meta Eagle. We keep an eye on things so you can continue with your day.

EndPoint Security

From workstation security, to Network Security. We can work with you to help develop your business and help keep safe from Cyber Threats, while monitoring crucial systems ensuring you remain online….. increasing business productivity.

Using the latest threat detection and EDR powered by SentinelOne we are poised to deliver protection from the inevitable threats on the online world in a proactive manner.

Deployment of Machines

Need to deploy machines to new starters, re provision existing equipment have it delivered to an office in a different country or ship to a user directly at home ?

No worries, in addition to our supply chain, procurement and financing we can also build the machines to a pre defined image . Utilising our MDT build servers and AutoPilot we can ensure machines are built to the same standard every time. Meaning when the machine arrives at the door it is good to go. Turn it on, log it in and get cracking.

If data is needed to be moved from one device to another we can arrange this also, with ‘onsite’ and ‘remote’ options.

Patch Management

We all know patching is something that is important but how often do you make sure it is enforced ? We will work to build a custom patching schedule for your business.

Patches are part of essential preventative maintenance, necessary to keep machines up to date, stable and safe from malware and other threats. Becoming a Meta Eagle customer means you can leave it all to us and have as much visability as you would like.

Drive Encryption & Key Management

All machines we provide customers will have the Professional version of the Windows operating System and also a TPM chip, which will allow your Hard Drive to be encrypted using BitLocker.

BitLocker Drive Encryption is a data protection feature that integrates with the operating system and addresses the threats of data theft or exposure from lost, stolen, or inappropriately decommissioned computers.

These keys have to be managed and stored. As a supported customer, we take care of this for you.

We are big advocates of 2FA as it is incredibly important to keep your system secure. 95% of breaches involve account take over. Two-Factor Authentication helps to protect against this.

Microsoft 365 allows the use of the authenticator app to require 2FA when logging into your environment and also your Azure AD joined machines.

Here at Meta Eagle, we have also partnered with Duo to allow us to design, implement and support deployments to niche applications and Remote Desktop servers. Which means not only can you make access more controlled and secure but you will also be able to see a log of who accessed the system and from where.

Microsoft O365 Management

Being an experienced Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider, Meta Eagle will establish a reseller relationship to manage all of your Microsoft billing so all of your I.T is on one manageable monthly invoice. We will also be there to add and remove licenses as required.
